ROCHESTER, Minn. (September 7, 2011) — Crenlo is pleased to announce the addition of the Emcor G-Series product line to their standard lineup of Emcor enclosures.
With a 2,000-pound static load capacity and a wide range of available accessories and modular configuration options, the G-Series provides strength and versatility in an economical package, making it a great solution for storing and protecting electronics in a wide array of general service applications.
”The G-Series is a natural addition to our standard product offering,” said Greg Wetzel, general manager of enclosures at Crenlo. “It takes design aspects from our popular ESQ and 10-Series product lines and melds them together to arrive at a very versatile, yet economical, solution that further strengthens our ability to meet the needs of any customer through standard, modified-standard and custom enclosure solutions.”
The fully welded frame of the G-Series utilizes 14- and 16-gauge steel and has been rigorously tested to be certified for loads of up to 2,000 pounds, creating a new option between the 800-pound-capacity Emcor ESQ product line and the 3,500-pound-capacity Emcor 10-Series product line.
The G-Series is inspired by the narrow footprint of the ESQ and is available in both 19-inch and 24-inch panel widths. It also utilizes the most popular cabinet depths of the 10-Series, including 26.31, 31.56 and 36.87 inches. By utilizing design aspects from two of its popular predecessors, the G-Series results in vertical panel openings (VPOs) ranging from 30U to 45U, providing the versatility to be well-suited for everything from broadcast and audio/video applications, to test and measurement, military and defense, systems integration, security, medical, and everything in between.
The versatility of the G-Series, however, is not due solely to its footprint.
“We have positioned the G-Series for an extensive product line expansion in the future,” said Wetzel. “As technology evolves and the needs of our customers change, the G-Series will evolve and change with them — both in terms of available accessories and modular configuration options.”
